Abstract

River linked topics are most debatable issues between Bangladesh and India. India is an upper riparian state and any step taken by India in common rivers directly affects Bangladesh. The painful experience of it is Farakka barrage. At present India is going to generate a big barrage (530 feet high) in Tipaimukh area on the river Barak. Barak is the river that flows between India and Bangladesh. After entering Bangladesh it turns into Meghna, Surma and Kushiara. If the barrage is concluded Meghna and Kushiara will become waterless and Sylhet, which is situated in the northeast of Bangladesh, will also have the same lot of desertification as the northwest part of Bangladesh. But Indian government appears to be unconcerned about it. Although Tipaimukh barrage will also be harmful to India, yet it concludes its crucial effort only for the purpose of energy producing.

About Us

This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this: Hi there! I’m a bike messenger by day, aspiring actor by night, and this is my website. I live in Los Angeles, have a great dog named Jack, and I like piña coladas. (And gettin’ caught in the rain.) read more
