Abstract
The Article is to explore the nexus between the electronic records and paper based records. If electronic records are considered as evidence “while Bangladeshi evidence law did not support it as admissible and authenticate. So, it is a conflicting matter in the case of evaluation for evidentiary value. This Article also shows that how the revolution of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has been made lag behind our legal system, i.e., evidence law, penal law, banking law etc. This Article also discusses the different provisions of UNCITRAL Model law on Electronic Commerce, UNCITRAL Model law on Electronic Signatures and ICT Bill, 2005 that are applicable as evidence regards electronic evidence.
