Abstract
This paper is mostly concerned with the concept of the role of police emphasizing particular Domestic Laws, and a number of relevant International Instruments, as well as the basic human rights norms regarding the detention of children and the detention of women in relation to human rights. The author made an effort to analyze a documentary about the role of police in the detention of children and women in relation to human rights in Bangladesh’s criminal justice system. Finally, in this study, the author has endeavored to bring out the actual scenario and activities with such references of having particular examples from the role of the law enforcement agency i.e., the police, in promoting a democratic and developing state like Bangladesh.
