EDITORIAL
The Law Faculty for the first time has published a research Journal within a very short time. Obviously it will not be immuned from errors despite my sincere efforts. Previously the Department of Law used to publish a “Law Review” almost with similar end in view. For reasons not known to me the Law Review has not seen the light of the world for the last few years. was prompted to fill up the gap for the academic interest of this single department faculty. The present issue is funded from the surplus amount of the two Admission Tests (1995 & 1996) conducted during my Deanship. I thank the present administration of this University for extending financial support in bringing out this issue.

The Law Journal contains articles on various law subjects starting from personal law to International law. The contributors freely expressed their views and suggested at times amendment, repeal, new legislation in the context of socio-political changes of our time. This is just a humble beginning of noble end. It is expected that my successors will continue to publish the journal regularly every year and will enrich it in original beauty and pave the way to the discovery of new knowledge for the study of law. It is needless to mention that the personal opinions as reflected in different articles are not necessarily the opinion of the Editor or Editorial Board.
