Abstract
Islamic law is based on Devine origin. There are some views in western legal epistemological arena that Roman law is the mother of all laws and Islamic law has been originated from Roman law. The idea is widely accepted to the most orientalists despite some exceptions. Eventually the orientalists who are in doubt as to the source of Islamic law, most of them render the concept by imitating others who are knowingly establish the influence of Roman Law on Islam. During its prevailing period in the Middle East as well as some of people have concept that Islamic Law was at least partially influenced by the Roman Law. As a result, Islamic law has been affected through this concept. Some orientalists dismiss the above possibility as untrue and accept the uniqueness and originality of Islamic law. Now-a-days, this matter is dubious to the Western legal arena. The article discusses thoroughly and verifies the authenticity and accuracy in this regard..
