Abstract
The rapid advancements of information and communication technology (ICT) have fundamentally changed the way of communication which has placed pressure on the judiciary to reconsider how information are handled by judges, lawyers and parties within the courtroom. While the deployment of technology is more frequently warranted on the grounds of efficacy, time and cost saving as well as convenience, hardly any research has been conducted in order to introduce virtual justice system in Bangladesh to embed new court processes and continue to pursue greater efficiency especially in a modern digital age. Reducing delay, rendering the cost-effective judicial remedy, promoting public confidence in the justice system of Bangladesh, continuing the interconnection of couri-records as well as ensuring more efficient and effective judicial cooperation, mediation, execution of judgments, access to justice for individuals in Bangladesh through the use of ICTs are laudable objectives of this paper.
