Model: Rigaku SmartLab SE
The Rigaku SmartLab SE is a highly versatile, automated multipurpose X-ray diffractometer (XRD) designed for the comprehensive structural analysis of materials. It features a high-resolution vertical $\theta/\theta$ closed-loop goniometer and is built around SmartLab Studio II software, which includes an intelligent Guidance expert system that automatically determines optimal hardware configurations, aligns the optics, and executes measurements. A hallmark of the system is its Cross-Beam Optics (CBO) module, which allows users to seamlessly switch between Bragg-Brentano (focusing) and parallel beam geometries without needing to manually change optical components.
